Edwin Joseph Jones

JONES, Edwin Joseph. Born November 18, 1923 passed away peacefully after a battle with Alzheimer's Disease on March 27, 2010. Served in Her Majesties Royal Canadian Navy and WWII in Esquimalt 1942 -1946. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Irene in July 2009. Lovingly remembered by his daughters Judy Kinneard and Joanne Jones; his son Bill Jones; 2 grandchildren Lisa Horton (Jeff) and Lynn Kinneard (Roger); 7 great grandchildren Zoe, Brady, Jasmine, Kiera, Alex, Mackenzie and Dawson, many relatives and good friends. His laugh will always be remembered and missed. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Long time resident and known building contractor of White Rock. Founding member of the Semiahmoo Fish and Game Club. Special thanks to Peace Portal Lodge staff for their loving care. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 12:00 PM followed by a Celebration of his Life at 1:00 PM at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28 Avenue, Surrey, BC.
