Esther passed away peacefully at her home, with family by her side, at the age of 99. Predeceased by her husband, Jack, she is lovingly remembered by her sons, Tom and John, and her grandchildren Tawney, Ethan and Nicholas. She is also fondly remembered by extended family and many friends.
Esther lead a full and colourful life. She was born in Prince Rupert and grew up in Haney BC. As an adult, she went on to live in Japan, where she met Jack, then together they lived in Guam, Mexico and various locations in the United States. Esther and Jack returned to Canada in 1987 and settled in White Rock soon after.
Esther was a world traveler, a master Bridge player, and cherished time with family and friends. She was an ardent philanthropist. She was genuine, generous and deeply touched many lives. Esther will not be forgotten.
The Family would like to sincerely thank Lourdes for her love and dedicated care given to Esther over the past four years.
A private Celebration of Esther’s life will be held with family and close friends.
