It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fern at Peace Arch Hospital on February 14, 2012 at the age of 85. Loving wife of Gordon Lalonde (pre-deceased 2001) and dear mother of Marc (pre-deceased 2004). Survived by sons, Derek (Deborah), Michael and David. Cherished grandmother of Nolan, Jeff, Kevin, Matthew and Jesse and their families. Loving great-grandmother to Brady, Danika, Tyce, Brielle, McKenna, Kaylee, Hunter and new baby to be in June, from Kevin and Alicia. Fern is also pre-deceased by two siblings: sister Jeannette and brother Aurel. Survived by her brother, Ronald (Rita). Also lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, her sisters in law, Margaret and Marjorie, their families and her friends.
There will be an in-urnment service sometime in August at Dale Cemetery in Cumberland, Ontario.
