Georgie,

We will miss you very much. Kev is one of our best friends and I really enjoyed getting to know you the last couple years. You were always so friendly and welcoming. I loved watching hockey games with you and we watched the Mayweather-MacGregor boxing match which was a classic. You always had great insight on the hockey games which was so interesting and fascinating to see your point of view. I loved talking about the sports medicine aspect behind the scenes. It really showed how smart you are and some of the things you were involved in must have been very impressive and even dramatic at times. Kev and Mom will miss you very much, and so will I.

George lived next door to us. We had many great conversations on our driveways. On those hot summer evenings Bryan and George would have an occasional beer together out on our bench. George was a fantastic neighbour! George was so proud of his home and kept it meticulous .
We will miss him.

We were so saddened to hear of George's passing. We count ourselves lucky to have moved into "George's neighbourhood" five years ago ... it won't be the same without him - ever. George kept a meticulous garden and put in the hours to keep it just so. I hope George knew just how much his gardening efforts were appreciated. Turning the corner onto Beachview and seeing George's beautiful flowers and greenery and unique water feature always made us smile. Always up for a good conversation, worldly and interesting, a supportive dog lover (we will be forever be grateful to George for his unfailing patience with our old, noisy dog!) and a gentleman ... we will miss you, George.

Our love to Elaine, Kevin, Brent and family.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Cousin George. I have many fond memories of George when he lived with his parents and Peter on our orchard farm in Kelowna in the early1950’s. On hot summer days, George, Peter and I would spend many enjoyable times together in City Park on the beach and swimming in Lake Okanagan.

Later, when they all lived at the coast, we would meet on occasion. Over the years, it was always nice to see and talk with George about the good old days and the latest news. George was a great guy. It was a pleasure to have him as a cousin.

George will be missed, but not forgotten.

George was a wonderful, caring neighbour and a true gentleman. I will miss our chats over a beer in the lane. R.I.P George.

George was a wonderful Pub Friend, had many inspiring conversations with him over a Pint. He also was my Whitecap Soccer Friend, every time he could not attend a game( he was a season ticket holder) he offered me the tickets at no charge. Thanks for the memories of you George, Fly with the angels, and smile at us.
