I was very saddened to learn of Arnie passing away this past week. I had the privilege of working with Arnie for a number of years in Vancouver and will always remember him  for  willingness to help with
any problem and we had many at the time. He will always be remembered for his dedication and work
effort as well as being a genuine good human being and a good friend.

Grandpa,

If you could leave this world going to heaven to meet my mother (and your beautiful daughter) knowing one thing, it would be that I want you to know that you are a hero. 

Even as a young boy, I knew that you were one-of-a-kind; a class act, a true gentleman and probably one of the most honest, hard working men I've ever had the privilege of having in my life. 

You are a walking success story; coming to BC with virtually nothing, working your whole life, putting your own wants and desires on the back burner  to raise a loving family and grow a thriving business. 

Although we weren't as close as we could be, trust that your unparalleled dedication to your family and work did not go unnoticed. It's no secret as to where my work ethic came from. 

I'll cherish the moments we spent together - from our countless fishing trips to Campbell River, drinking coffee at Tim Hortons, discussing politics & real estate and you helping me with my car during my teens.

Grandpa, although you left us way too soon, you left a legacy and I'm committed to doing anything and everything possible to support our family.

I don't have a single doubt that you heard each and every one of my last words on December 4. 

Grandpa, please go to rest without a single worry knowing that your family will be well taken care of. You have my word. 

Please say hello to my mom  for me and let her know that I miss I her immensely. Furthermore, please tell her that not only do I forgive her, but she has nothing to worry about. If she doesn't already know, please tell her about Tyler and I's relationship  because I know that nothing would make her happier.

I was so saddened to hear that Arnie passed away so suddenly. We were neighbors for 26 years and I will fondly remember him as a kind, funny, interesting person who was always ready with a kind word or helping hand. He and Lorne regularly stopped during breaks in their gardening chores to discuss and solve the current issues of the day. The highlight of a neighborhood walk was stopping by Arnie ‘s front yard for a chat. Somehow, he always knew everything that was going on. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him. RIP Lynn

Arnie was the most genuine, kind and decent  person you could know.  He was always there to assist and support anyone he met in any way possible.  We never tired of hearing all  the stories of Arnie and his brother growing up. 
Armie's compassion and love for his family and animals always showed through in all our conversations.   We are missing those treasured  times dearly. 
Our hearts and love go out to Dianne and the family in this tremendous loss - Arnie was one in a million and will be sadly missed by all of us.

Thank you for being the best grandpa anyone could have. Thank you for teaching Keith and I the meaning of working hard. You were the most funny, witty, caring grandpa and I miss you so much. Thank you for helping me catch my first fish, teaching me how to check my oil and all the many other amazing things you helped me with that I will cherish forever.. I promise I will continue to keep working hard like you did Grandpa and to make you proud.... I love you so much.

I want to thank my husband of 55 years so much for my wonderful life and home he provided for myself and our two girls, Brandy and Debi. He was such a good man with a wonderful sense of humour. He was my best friend and I miss him so much....
