1923 - 2013
Gwendolyn Friel passed away Tuesday, September 17 at Peace Arch Hospice in White Rock, B.C. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty-six years, William Friel, son Bruce (Anita) Friel, and daughter Paula (David) Edmonson. She is also survived by granddaughters Julie (Michael), Laura (Lance), Alana, Karen (Kenny), and Kim (Darren), and three great granddaughters and two sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Gwen is predeceased by brothers Len Hawkins, Wes Tribe, Harold Tribe, Tom Tribe and sister Clara Rushworth. A Memorial Service will be held at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 28th Avenue, Surrey, B.C., Friday, September 27, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the B.C. Cancer Agency.
