12 July 1946 – 17 November 2021
After a difficult battle with Covid, Heather went to the one place she most wanted to be, home, with the Lord, where there would be no more struggles or worries and where she would be reunited with her kidlet.
Heather was predeceased by her mother Verlie (Rougeau-Mitchell) and her father Kenneth Lambe and Jackie.
She leaves to mourn the love of her life for the last forty-five years, John (Shaun) Dalzell. They had a blended family with her sons Keith Gordon, who she was devastated to lose earlier this year, and his wife Michelle, who she was so grateful for. She leaves her second son, Carl Gordon and his son Kyle, who she was very proud of.
Heather also leaves Shaun’s daughters, Catherine and Allisun and her husband Remo, and their children, Brandan, Kaillan and Emersan, who she always said were exactly like their mother (in good ways!).
Heather was also very proud of her Rougeau brothers and sisters: Raymond, Joanne, Armand, Jimmy and Diane and she had a special spot in her heart for her Goddaughter, Sara Strydhorst.
With her family spread across the country, it was Heather’s friends who became family and we want to include those she chose for a reason, and those she chose for a lifetime, in the collection of those she left behind.
Heather chose not to have a funeral. In thinking about the best way you can pay tribute to her, we would encourage you to pick up the phone and call an old friend.
