Ingrid Maria Luise Rothhauser

Born on November 17, 1936, in Berlin, Germany, Ingrid passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, at Langley Memorial Hospital. A mere six weeks after the passing of the love of her life, Rainer Rothhauser.

Ingrid was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Corrina (Joe); her cherished grandsons, Mario and Gianluca; her loving sister, Helga (Doug); and many nephews in both Canada and Germany.

In 1961, Ingrid and her sister Helga left Berlin to begin a new chapter in Toronto, where Ingrid would soon meet her future husband, Rainer. In 1963, they married and went on to build a beautiful life together — one filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories, first in Toronto and later in Surrey.

Both Ingrid and Rainer had a deep passion for cooking and baking. She approached every task with a smile on her face and a song in her heart, infusing love into everything she did and radiating warmth, happiness, and positivity.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (20676 Fraser Highway, Langley, BC) on November 7th, at 1:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Ingrid’s memory to the Langley Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Ingrid’s joie de vivre will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
