Peacefully on October 27, 2025, Irma Wood passed away at Saanich Peninsula Healthcare in Sidney BC at the age of 99 years. Irma was born in Yorkton to Karl and Pauline Knodel. Left to honour her memory are her daughters Valerie (Alfred) Leung and Gwen (Sheldon) Kehler; grandchildren Clayton, Jayden (Angela) and Barry (Linda) Leung, Kristofer (Natalie), Lance (Liz) and Mitchell (Sarah) Kehler; great grandchildren Elijah, Reuben, Storm, Noah, Tennyson and Bennett, and soon to be born Mason Leung. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Irma was predeceased by her husbands Alfred Eichhorst and Tom Wood as well as her siblings. A memorial service will be held on November 24, 2025 at Victory Memorial Park in South Surrey with interment to follow.
She will be deeply missed.
