Jane Irving

Jane Irving passed away peacefully on December 3, 2023 and can finally rejoin the love of her life, her late husband of 73 years, Joseph Irving.

Born in Matsqui on March 26, 1927 to Scottish immigrant parents, Jane and her five siblings grew up on a dairy farm.

Jane and Joe raised their two children Pat and Jim in Prince George before they settled for many happy years in Ladysmith. Spending their last few years in White Rock to be closer to family.

Jane’s loves included gardening in her beautiful yard and baking for her family. She made the best apple pie! She was also an avid sports fan and rarely missed a Canucks or Blue Jays game. Most of all, Jane loved spending time with her family and always made a point to say goodnight to her grandchildren and great grandchildren every night.

Jane will be greatly missed by her two children Pat and Jim, grandchildren Darren and Carlie, their spouses Wendy and Doug, and her great grandchildren Kyle, Zoie, Tyler and Jordyn.
