It is with great sadness we are announcing the passing of Janelle. Born September 19, 1965 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, raised in Montreal, Toronto, and settled in Delta, BC. Janelle was predeceased by her father David Thorleifson. Janelle is survived by her loving husband Lance, her children Austen, Elise, her sister Kristie (Chris Ritter), mother Doreen, brother Glen (Pilar), stepmom Maizie. Janelle and Lancelyn Rowland Nelson were married July 10, 1998 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Janelle will be remembered for her passion as a special education assistant as she loved to help people and support them. Janelle was a champion highland dancer in her youth. She will be dearly missed by her dogs Mimi and Cleo. Flowers appreciated, however donations can be made to the BC Cancer Society.
