Janet Goldthorp - Born in Port Dover, Ontario in 1941, Janet passed away at her home in White Rock, BC on Oct. 15th, 2023.

Janet Elizabeth Goldthorp (Butts) was born on Feb. 10, 1941 (to Joan and Irwin Butts of Port Dover). She passed away at her home in White Rock, BC; on Sun. Oct. 15, 2023. Janet lived a full and engaging life as first, an RN and later as a Nurse Practitioner pioneer in Alberta & The Northwest Territories. During her busy life, Janet lived and worked in Ft. St. John, BC for 12 yrs, Salmon Arm, BC for 20 yrs and finally retired to White Rock, BC. Janet is survived by her eldest son Norman Goldthorp (children Ashton & Colton), her daughter Mary Goldthorp and her husband Arne Gulstene (children Joshua & Emma Gulstene) and her sister Nadine M. Ilton of Scotland Ontario.
