Betty, I just now found out about John passing away. I dreamed of him last night and decided to look him up. There was not a year I did not think of him since we both left Dominion Bridge. John was the most influential person in my early life in Canada, he was more then my "coworker", he was my mentor and his support shaped my further professional  development. We did a lot of technical inventions together, at Dominion Bridge and even later a specific project in my own company. I miss him and I am now sad we did not stay more in touch. 
I am sending this message from Mexico, I have been living there since late 2014, it is now the 27 October 2017.

Betty   Morrrie and I are devistated to learn of Johns death. There will never be two people in my life again that have shaped me and made me proud  of who I am.  I miss you both so very much.
