from natural causes. Joe was a long time resident
of Ladysmith where he spent many happy
years with his beloved wife of 73 years, Jane
before moving to White Rock three years
ago. Joe was born in Beverly, Alberta on
April 28, 1924 Into a large family, of which
he was the last surviving member. He spent
time in the Fraser Valley, where he met his
future wife before moving to Prince George
and raising their two children Pat and Jim.
He was a man who loved to work with his
hands who could build anything including his
Ladysmith home and many treasured pieces of
woodwork that he built for his family who cherish
them to this day.
Joe was a veteran and proud Canadian who will be greatly missed by
his wife, Jane, his two children, Pat and Jim as well as two grandchildren
Darren and Carlie, their spouses Wendy and Doug and great
grandchildren Kyle, Zoie, Tyler and Jordyn.
