     Ed, Shirl, and family, we wish to express our heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your inspirational Judie after a long heroic battle with cancer. I am so sad that my best friend from U.B.C. passed away so suddenly. I express sincere sympathy to everyone who knows what the world is now missing....a very smart, kind and wonderful person. May Bert find the strength to carry on. Another angel is in heaven. I will never forget you Judie....you made me smile.May we meet again in another place...until then be at peace and without pain.

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Judie's passing. She was smart and funny and we will never forget her. Cancer has taken too many wonderful people. Please accept our condolences at this terrible time.

Deepest sympathy to Bert and families.  The world has lost an intelligent, compassionate and dedicated person in Judie. She will be greatly missed-very much too at Children's Hospital.

The Breast Cancer Peer Support Group deeply mourns the loss of our member and friend Judie Nelson.  Those of us who shared support with Judie, whether by offering it to her or receiving it from her, were rewarded with the tears and laughter of a deep kinship.
