Judith Elizabeth Williamson

We are sad to announce the sudden passing of Judy She was taken from us way too soon. She is survived by her brother Rick (wife Joan), nieces Nicole (great-nieces Abby and Anna) and Lisa (husband Neil).

Judy was born in Vancouver and graduated from John Oliver Secondary School. She eventually moved to Surrey. Judy had a lengthy career at BC Hydro and also did first aid work for St. John Ambulance.

Judy loved animals, especially birds and was an avid photographer of birds in the wild. Over the years, she always had a dog or cat. Buddy, her dog and Onyx, her cat held a special place in her heart.

After retirement, Judy did volunteer work with OWL (Orphaned Wildlife) Rehabilitation Society. Her volunteer work eventually led to a part-time job at OWL.

Judy will be missed by her family and her many friends, including those in her condo complex. We all enjoyed family dinners and the ensuing, and at times, very energetic cards games.

In accordance with Judy’s wishes, there will be no service.
