Leslie Elizabeth Woollatt (née Robinson)
April 22, 1948 – June 29, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Leslie Elizabeth Woollatt (née Robinson), who passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026.
She is lovingly remembered by her children Mike (Martha) and Sara (Dan), her grandchildren Sophie, Charlotte and Dylan, siblings Nora (Graeme), Pat (predeceased), Rick (Ljiljana) and David (Jocelyn), and her nieces and nephews Megan, Thomas, Nicole and Marija.
As the eldest of five children, she helped set the example for a close-knit family that remained an important part of her life. Family was the centre of her world, and she devoted her life to caring for, supporting, and celebrating those she loved. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering presence touched generations of family and friends.
Leslie dedicated her professional life to caring for others as a nurse at Peace Arch Hospital. Over a distinguished career in both the maternity and palliative care units, she became known as an exceptionally dedicated, compassionate, and hardworking nurse. Whether welcoming new life into the world or providing comfort during life’s most difficult moments, Leslie cared for every patient with dignity, skill, and genuine compassion.
Outside of nursing, Leslie found great happiness in cooking and baking for those she loved. She had a remarkable gift for bringing people together and was an extraordinary host, creating a warm and welcoming home where everyone felt like family. She believed that sharing a meal was one of the simplest and most meaningful ways to show love.
Leslie’s life was defined by service—to her family, her friends, her patients, and her community. Her quiet strength, generous heart, and selfless spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Laurel Place for the exceptional care and kindness they provided during Leslie’s final days.
A celebration of Leslie’s life will be held at 1pm on Friday, July 24th at Victory Memorial Park, 14831 28th Avenue, Surrey. Family and friends are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to a cancer charity or a healthcare organization in her memory
