It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Lloyd Dickert on November 15, 2020. Lloyd was born in Neustadt, Ontario on December 28, 1930 and is predeceased by parents Theophil and Lillietta. He is survived by his sister Gloria in Ontario and first wife, Leah. He will be lovingly remembered by children Richard (Heather), Deena (late Roy) and David (Michelle) as well as grandchildren Matthew, Ashley and Nathan.
Lloyd moved to BC in his 20’s where he worked for the Wosk family for over 40 years, both at their furniture store and the Harrison Hotel. He was a skilled carpenter with an infectious smile who had an uncanny ability to repair or build anything. Lloyd was a hardworking, devoted family man and neighbor who enjoyed telling stories, being outdoors and, in later years, spending time with his cat, Callie.
The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Peace Portal Seniors Village for their care at this challenging time. A private graveside service will be held.
