Lorraine Farrauto

It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother. Born Charlotte 'Lorraine' Greatorex in Swan River Manitoba to Rev George and Annie Greatorex, she was the sister to brothers Kenneth and Weldon. After leaving Swan River, Lorraine and family moved to

Rossburn Manitoba, followed by Winnipeg, where she started school in 1939. In 1941 the Greatorex family moved to Regina Saskatchewan where Lorraine completed grades 3,4 and 5. On Lorraine’s 11th birthday, she and the family arrived in Kelowna BC, where she completed her high school education. Afterwards, Lorraine moved to Vancouver and began her secretarial career. In November 1952, she followed her family to Kitchener Ontario where she met and married Bob Zehr in 1957. Soon afterwards they moved to Brantford where their first son Brad was born on June 13/1960. In 1961, the small family moved to Woodstock where their second son Steve was born on April 13/1962. In June 1968 the family moved to Burlington Ont. where the children completed their

education. After the unfortunate breakup of her marriage, Lorraine met and married Carl Farrauto in 1990. In 2000 Carl and Lorraine moved to White Rock BC where they remained married until Carl’s

passing in 2018. While in White Rock, Carl and Lorraine felt themselves very fortunate to experience the joy of being grandparents. Left to mourn are son Brad (Claudia), son Steve (Heather) and their beloved grandchildren Caleb, Elias and Aylah. Lorraine will buried with her late husband Carl in Memorial Gardens, South Surrey BC on Nov 20/2025. A service will take place ahead of time at Victory Memorial at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated

A funeral service will be held at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, located at 14831 28th Ave, Surrey, BC, V4P 1P3, Canada, on November 20, 2025, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Following the funeral, a committal service will take place at Valley View Funeral Home & Cemetery, 14644 72 Ave, Surrey, BC, V3S 2E7, Canada, on November 20, 2025, from 1:00 pm.
