Lucia "Luci" Ryman Richards

Luci, beloved mother of Nicholas Parker, passed away peacefully in her home on November 25, 2022, after a courageous struggle with Multiple Sclerosis. Luci was born in Toronto, Ontario on October 22, 1970. She graduated from Bethany Hills School, Bethany, Kawartha Lakes, Ontario in 1988 and the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario with a B.A. in Sociology in 1992. She married David Parker in 2000. They moved to White Rock and Surrey, British Columbia in 2007 where they raised their son together, and she worked in sales and ran several businesses. Luci is survived by her son, Nicholas Parker; her fiancé, Andrew Kendrick; her father, Ian Richards; her brother, Oliver Richards; her father-in-law, Neil Parker; her ex-husband, David Parker; and her sisters-in-law, Teresa Parker and Danielle Azam. Luci is predeceased by her mother, Juliet Richards. Luci was a beautiful giving mother, whose love for her son Nicholas will transcend time -- she will be sadly missed. In lieu of flowers, donate funds to a Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, or Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder charity.
