

Man Yee “Vivian” Ma of Vancouver, BC passed away on August 27, 2026. She strongly fought her atypical Parkinson PSP disease for 10 years and was surrounded by her family at home when she passed.
Born in Chung Shan, China, Vivian moved to Hong Kong in her early years and immigrated to Vancouver, Canada in 1970 to join her husband. She had a successful career as a self-employed store owner and managed 3 different stores throughout the years in the Lower Mainland. A devout Buddhist, she had a zest for life and loved flowers, shopping, dancing, traveling, good food, and Chinese TVB shows. She volunteered and was an active member of the community prior to her diagnosis.
Vivian is survived by her loving family members: husband, Yui Keung “Ken”, and her children, Serena, Winnie (Makoto Sakuma), Miranda (Albert Tu), Noreen (Craig) Matsuda, and Jeffrey, and her grandchildren, Trevan, Jayven, and Sophie.
Prayers will be held at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 28th Ave, Surrey, BC, V4P1P3, CA, on October 1, 2026, from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
