Marcia Esparansa Francis

With hearts filled with gratitude and love, we celebrate the life of Marcia Francis—a faithful wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and loyal friend.

As the beloved wife of Chris Francis, Marcia exemplified the sacred covenant of marriage through her steadfast love, unwavering faithfulness, and quiet strength. Together they built a home grounded in faith, hope, and love, creating a legacy that will continue through the generations.

As a mother, she gave of herself without measure. Her love was constant, her wisdom gentle, and her faith a guiding light for her children. She taught us to trust in God’s providence, to care for one another with compassion, and to meet life’s joys and trials with grace and courage.

As a grandmother, her greatest joy was found in the lives of her grandchildren. She delighted in their laughter, celebrated their milestones, and surrounded them with unconditional love, encouragement, and prayer. The love she planted in their hearts will remain a lasting gift.

We thank Almighty God for the blessing of Marcia’s life and for the countless ways she reflected Christ’s love to all who knew her. Though we grieve her passing, we do not grieve without hope, for we trust in the promise of the Risen Christ and the gift of eternal life.

May the angels lead you into Paradise; may the martyrs come to welcome you and take you to the holy city, the new and eternal Jerusalem. May choirs of angels receive you, and with Lazarus, who once was poor, may you have eternal rest. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.

Prayers will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption, 3141 Shaughnessy St, Port Coquitlam, on July 15, 2026, at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will occur at Our Lady of the Assumption on July 16, 2026, at 11:00 am followed by a Burial Service at Valley View Funeral Home & Cemetery, 14644 72 Ave, Surrey, BC at 2:00pm
