Margaret was born on July 29, 1928, to her parents Sylvester & Theresa Alguire. Margaret passed away peacefully on May 18th 2023.
Her brothers and sisters were Winifred, Arthur, Evelyn, Isabel & Wesley. She was the 5th child & born on her parents 9th wedding anniversary. She was born and raised in Montreal Quebec and enjoyed a very happy childhood with very loving parents who always put their children’s needs first.
Margaret is survived by her son Jim, daughter-in-law Sharon & grandchildren Joel & Katelyn.
Margaret will always be remembered as one who loved all & was loved by all. If you met her, you loved her and you would be blessed for her acquaintance and she for yours. Her great joy was her grandchildren, and she was very loved by them.
She had a strong faith and a real experience of salvation in 1983, which she took care to live out daily. She was always mindful of her Church family and loved them all dearly, always looking for situations that needed prayer or assistance in any form. She faithfully supported the less fortunate, through contributions to the Salvation Army and knit many wool toques over the years.
The funeral will be held at Fraser Heights Chapel, 14835 Fraser highway, on May 30th 2023 at 10:00 am, with a gathering at the same premises, for refreshments following the service.
Margaret will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at 2:00 pm. This event will be for the immediate family only.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations may be made to the Apostolic Faith Church.
“My Tribute”
How can I say thanks
For the things You have done for me?
Things so undeserved,
Yet You gave to prove Your love for me;
The voices of a million angels
Could not express my gratitude.
All that I am and ever hope to be,
I owe it all to Thee.
To God be the glory
To God be the glory
To God be the glory
For the things he has done.
With his blood He has saved me,
With His power He has saved me;
To God be the glory
For the things He has done.
Just let me live my life,
Let it be pleasing Lord to Thee,
And if I gain any praise,
Let it go to Calvary.
To God be the glory.
