Marie Therese Boghdady

It's with immeasurable sadness that we share with you the passing of our beloved Mother, Marie Boghdady who passed away on February 4, 2026 at Richmond General Hospital surrounded by her family.

Marie was born in Egypt and later immigrated to Canada with her late husband, Samir and her daughter, Mimi (Lunot). They started a new life in Montreal, PQ before eventually moving to Vancouver, BC. There, she was closer to her late Mother, Antoinette Nassar along with all her brothers and sisters in Seattle, WA., along with her brother in-law, Rick Michaels and her many nieces and nephews.

Family was everything to Marie. Her greatest pride was her kids Mimi (Lunot), Cherine (Boghdady), Caroline (Dennison) and Samantha (De Castro). Her grandchildren, Kyle (Tucker), Julia (Lunot), Joshua (Lunot), Rachel (Dennison), Natalie (Dennison) Brocklyn (Dennison), Nathan (De Castro) and Gabriella (De Castro) along with her sons in-law, Ken Tucker, Jeff Lunot and Nick De Castro, were so dearly loved by her.

To Marie, family was not just important, it was her purpose, her strength and her greatest source of joy.

Although she is no longer with us, her legacy will forever live on in our hearts and in our memories.

Rest in Peace dear Mom. Until we meet again.

A viewing followed by a funeral mass will be held at 11:30am at St. Joseph The Worker Parish, located at 4451 Williams Rd, Richmond, BC, V7E 1J7, Canada.

The final resting and reception will take place at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre following the service, situated at 14831 28th Ave, Surrey, BC, V4P1P3, Canada, on February 17, 2026
