Marion MacAulay nee Macdonald

Marion passed away peacefully two months after her 100th birthday. Born and raised in Vancouver, Marion worked at Pacific Press in the Province and Vancouver Sun classified advertising department.

As a young woman she dated John MacAulay; years later they reunited, married in 1979 and enjoyed 29 years together, including summers at a cabin in Likely, BC, until John passed away in 2008.

Marion was also predeceased by her four siblings Jane, Dolly, Christina and Hector. A consummate entertainer, Marion loved to host family and friends for dinners and gatherings, events that often reflected the Scottish heritage she proudly celebrated. Marion is fondly remembered as a kind and generous aunt and great aunt.
