June 27, 1921 – February 1st, 2015
Marion passed away peacefully. She will be dearly missed by David and Barbara, Rod and Deborah, Grant and Lucy, grandchildren Tommy, Kirsty, Nicole, Kim and Angela, great granddaughter Heidi and many long-time friends.
Marion was born and raised in Melbourne, Quebec. She married George in 1943 and they lived in Quebec, Maine, Jamaica and British Columbia. In White Rock Marion made many friends through the University of Women’s Club, Third Age Learning and the First Uniting Church.
Marion’s passions were her family, education, her work with Investors Syndicate and travel. She completed a BA Ec from UNB at the age of 57 and began a 22 year career as a financial planner. Her travels took to her to Europe, South Africa, Iceland, Russia, South America, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia.
