Mary was a very special lady to the Benusic family as well. Over the years she became an important part of our family gatherings. Always enjoyed her company and great wit. Much love to all, Lorraine, Chris and family.

It is so nice to see the photo of Aunt Mary as a young woman.  Her beauty and strength are so clearly apparent!  Aunt Mary was always gracious, always charming and always welcoming.  I remember her fondly as the good friend of my mother as much as the dear sister of my father.  We miss her sadly.

Dear Auntie Mary,

 We have so many wonderful, happy memories of times spent in your company. Of
the times you spent back in England  and various adventures down memory lane. 

 During our first trip to Canada to stay with you, we drove across the Rockies to Calgary. On our way we visited Lake Louise with apple pie in the restaurant and we enjoyed an overnight stay in a log cabin at Jasper, where we all laughed so much about the tiny bath and spent the evening playing cards.  It snowed on our arrival in Calgary but the following day was beautiful and sunny and we had a barbecue. On our return we stopped in Banff and paid a visit to the Christmas shop. Then on to The Icefields and many other sights en route back to White Rock. 

 We have made a number of other visits over the years, all packed full of memories and with the common theme of evenings spent reminiscing about the family, over games of cards.

 Towards the end of our last stay with you in 2013 you came with us one evening, down to Crescent Beach and we walked a little and then sat and watched the sun go down together. It was a beautiful sunset.

I will always remember the look on Aunt Mary's face when one day I showed up on her door step in Jasper, with two rather odd looking young men in tow (the hippie era).  She was her usual kind self, without passing judgment.  I especially appreciate that Aunt Mary never forgot me over the years.  She was a truly loyal devoted aunt.  I will miss her. Heart felt sympathy and prayers for my cousins and their families.

I have wonderful happy memories of my Aunt Mary, especially when I was a child visiting in Jasper. She was very kind hearted and I will always treasure those times.
