It is with great sadness that we share with you the sudden passing of Mason. Much loved son of Thomas and Brenda. Baby brother to Mia, Marc, Lane, Blake and Austyn. Predeceased by his grandparents Beverly (Bapa) and Barbara (Honey) Hobbs, and Opa Reinhold Baumeister. We will miss him beyond words. Mason was Mum’s singing partner and her special Bahamian boy, and his Dad’s crossword puzzle helper and biking partner. Mason was looking forward to returning to University in September. He is safe with his grandparents, and loved always. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service Sunday September 2nd at 2 p.m. at Victory Memorial Park, 14831 28th Avenue, Surrey, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mason’s memory can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Cancer Foundations.

Hi Thomas and Brenda
I was saddened to read of Mason's passing.
Although I didn't know him, I have fond memories of your family from Kitimat days, and know that he would have been surrounded with love and fun growing up.
I can't imagine what you and the kids are going through. I wish you all strength for now, and happy events for the future.
My sympathies,

Phil and Linda Richards

I will never forget sharing mornings at Silver Birch Kennels with Mason. As a young lad, he commuted to school with my grandson. They were long time friends. I am the grandmother to Jesse Young. Mason and I waited together for the trip to school. I was incredibly impressed with a boy's manners, demeanour and quiet charm. What a lovely young man! I will cherish these memories forever. I admired and felt love for such an astonishing lad. Mason is forever in my heart.
