We are so saddened by Matty’s passing. Our hearts are breaking for you all. Sending love and light as you mourn his loss. Such a kind soul and gentle human and we will never forget him.

My favorite memory of Matthew is when every time my daughter sees him she lights up and runs to him to get his hugs and all the snap chat pictures they take together.

Oh Matty Matty Matty. 
This earth lost a soul that was too kind for it. You loved and loved deeply unapologetically and I’ll always love you for that. I wish I hadn’t lost all of our pics together but the memories will never fade.  You taught me that it’s ok to be unapologetically authentic. When I held onto unnecessary anger, you taught me to release it. When I punched that street lamp you laughed so hard I couldn’t help but laugh, then you helped me find ice. Over the years we faded away from our in person visits, but you watched me go from the hood rat I was to a flourishing mother. You always cheered me on and reminded me that you were proud of me. I miss you so much Matty. I’ll forever miss your contagious smile and laughter. Rest easy baby boi and forever fly high 🕊️

I will miss him so much he was a great person he helped me get over son stuff he will be missed but never forgotten he was a light in my dark life

Mattie was like a brother to me and I am still not wanting to believe it. He was my ride or die friend and my condolences to his family. It is devastating but know he will want us all to continue on cherishing all the great times we all shared with Mattie.

I could honestly write a book about everything we have been threw but it would hurt my heart because we always talked about not living life without each other and now I’m forced to figure out how to live without you I love you and you always have a piece of me with you LLMD 🕊️

My favorite memory of Mattie is that we worked together at the same movie theatre with his cousin Steve we used to laugh at the time when Steve and I locked him in the storage room and my other favorite memory is that we had his 19 year old birthday party at work with the same co workers and played the games it was such an amazing fun. I miss him every single day rip my work husband I love you 😘

One of my favourite memories of uncle Matty was when I told him I was pregnant he looked at me and yelled jokingly with a big grin “I’m to young to be a great uncle” then he turned around sassy like and did a silly walk away a couple seconds later he faced me and said “I’m just kidding I’m so happy I get to be a great uncle and you’re going to be a great mom” then he hugged me so tight I will forever miss you uncle Matty and baby Bella will grow up hearing so many stories of you and all the adventures you, me, auntie Jess and Dom went on!! I have a lot of memories with matty. I have so many that I just can’t pick one. I have good memories and tough memories. Memories of our many late night conversations, many memories of our random adventures, many memories of our long phone calls where we would tell each other everything. Many tears from some of our disagreements, many times my heart was broken by seeing u hurt or broken. And now I don’t get to make anymore memories with you, but I do get to remember all the memories I do have. This one hurts a lot. I miss you so much. I love u matty. Say hello to Megan and my step dad please. Party with the angels.
