Maureen Lynn Gaudreau

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Maureen Gaudreau, beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished sister, and proud grandmother, on October 25th 2025.

Maureen was a woman of remarkable strength, grace, and resilience. Throughout the challenges of recent years, she faced each day with unwavering courage and an enduring spirit that inspired everyone who knew her. Her strength was matched only by her deep love for her family, who remained at the very center of her life.

She took great joy in being “Nana” to her beloved grandchildren, whose mere existence brought her never ending happiness. Her greatest fulfillment came from creating lasting memories with her loved ones—whether gathered around the table, celebrating milestones, or simply spending quality time together.

Those blessed to know Maureen will remember her warmth, optimism, and generosity of spirit.

She is survived by her loving husband John; her daughters Justine and Melisse; her adored grandchildren Ethan, Kasen and Laura; her siblings Diane, Craig and Michele; and many extended family members and dear friends.

The family asks that contributions be made in her memory to the Palliative Care Ward at Surrey Memorial Hospital, in lieu of flowers.
