Mildred Lucile Morrill (nee Umbach)
Born February 9, 1921 in Edmonton AB, Died April 12, 2022 in Delta, B.C.

Lucile was predeceased by her husband Lloyd, her sister Muriel, and her brother Gordon.

Survived by her sister Marion, son Ron (Veronica), her daughters Robyn (Ron) and Wendy (Dave) and by her grandsons, Eric and Kieran.

Lucile worked as a secretary at an Army medical unit in Ottawa, and as a medical secretary in Vancouver. She married Lloyd on May 4,1946. She lived in many B.C. towns: Vancouver, Lillooet, Kamloops, Vernon, Abbotsford, Powell River, Burnaby and White Rock.

Lucile loved to travel on family trips and internationally. She liked to read, and enjoyed both listening to and playing classical music. She loved her cats and dogs. Some of her happiest years were spent obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree at UBC at the age of 70. After university, Lucile studied to become a chaplain with the Unitarian Church of Vancouver and officiated at many weddings and funerals.

A private family memorial service has been held.
