Odette, born in Vancouver, peacefully passed away at the age of 92 on May 7. Her generous love for her family will never be forgotten and dearly missed by her loving husband Bill of 69 years, son Wayne and wife Linda, daughter Dianne and husband Drew, granddaughters Darcy (Paul), Jill (James), Catherine, Sarah (Mike), Jennifer (Donovan), Heather (Kentish) and 8 great-grandchildren. Odette worked at Woodwards from 1953 to 1986 and retired to White Rock spending winters in Mesa, Arizona and summers planting and nurturing a showpiece garden. She was a gracious hostess and a kind and caring friend to many. She should have written the book on how to be a mother. She was the BEST. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday June 10 at the Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre 14831 28th Ave, Surrey 604-536-6522. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
