OBITUARY

Pamela Jean Swenson

IN THE CARE OF

Victory Memorial Park & Funeral Centre

Pamela Jean Swenson, beloved parent, grandparent, sister, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on December 9th, 2023, at the age of 64. She is survived by her former spouse, Steve, her loving partner, Will, her children, Leila, Maia (Tom), Vaughn (Joane), Ava (Michael), her mother, Barbara Tole, her adoring grandchildren, Owen, Aspen, Audrey, and Bowen, and her loyal dog, Bentley.

Pam embodied kindness, love, compassion, and selflessness, always driven to do whatever she could for others. Putting family first was second nature to her, and her generous spirit extended well beyond those she held dear. Her life was a testament to the principles of giving, generosity, and compassion.

Passionate about music and travel, Pam had an artistic nature and could transform any assortment of ingredients into a gourmet meal. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to prioritising family, watching over them, and fostering their success, regularly putting the needs of others before her own.

Born in Surrey, B.C., Pam pursued various roles dedicated to helping others, from assisting special needs individuals in group homes to serving children as an Education Assistant in Surrey Schools. Pam also found joy in caring for numerous pets throughout her life, a testament to her deep love for animals. As a proud parent and grandparent, she leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion.

Due to the suddenness of Pam’s passing, arrangements to honour and celebrate her life will be organised at a later date. Details for the public memorial service will be communicated to friends and family once finalised.

If you wish to express your sympathy, we kindly request donations to the local food bank in Pam’s honour, a cause that resonates with her spirit of always helping others. In remembrance of Pam’s legacy of kindness and generosity, we invite you to carry on her spirit by embodying these qualities in your own actions.
