It is with deep sorrow and loving memories, we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle, friend. Randy Shane Gowen, fondly known as Jack Rigger, suddenly passed away on November 22, 2022 in Vancouver. Randy was born August 3, 1963. He was predeceased by his mother Yvonne, grandparents Reg and Jean and sister-in-law Merredee. He is survived by his dad Bob, stepmom Judy, sisters Cindy (Kelley) and Sheila (Doug), brother Rob and their families, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Randy was blessed with a huge loving heart and generous nature. He always worked very hard in his life doing many jobs from towing trucks, construction, painting and mechanics. Randy was a huge animal lover and was devastated when his beloved dog Crash passed away. Randy had a quick wit for jokes and humour, always giving everyone a great laugh. Donations to the Yukon House, VGH Burn Unit or the SPCA would be greatly appreciated, in lieu of flowers. A Celebration of Life will follow in the Spring.
