I remember when Nightingale's lived on Coast Meridian Road (168th St) as we were neighbours. I was there often to play. And to watch Mickey Mouse Club on their tv! (I thought I was pretty special since my aunt in California sent me a pair of Mickey ears to wear while I watched.)  ;-)   Another memory is of many hours on many days spent playing in the wooded area and creek that ran through the property. (An interesting note to that is that my Dad remembered playing in that creek also when he was young.) Gary's parents (and the Baldwins) were friends of my Dad's (George Radford) growing up. 
I was at the service yesterday - how wonderful to see so many there to remember Rita and support her family.  Listening to the eulogy and memories shared by Pat gave a picture of a strong and determined woman - to have lived so well and so happily, even with all the challenges she must have faced.  Clearly she was beautiful on the outside and by all accounts was a wonderful person all-around.  How lucky you are to have so many wonderful memories of Rita. My condolences.  Lea Radford
