Rob’s school years were active, participating in any sport available. Track became his passion and later cycling. Rob even tried his hand in a teen rock band. Rob began working with the BC Ambulance Service in 1992. He started in Whistler, Lower Mainland and then the Province. He had many hobbies that included hunting, fishing and dirt biking. He loved rock climbing and mountaineering and challenged himself to climb many of the highest peaks on several continents. In 2000 he began climbing to raise funds for the BC Children’s Hospital. Rob’s love of sports has carried on through his life and he loved coaching lacrosse and soccer for his boys.
Anything that Rob did he excelled at. He never did anything half way.
