In loving memory of Robert “Bob” Bullough, who passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026, at the age of 93. Bob was born in Blackpool, England, to Elsie (nee Oliver) and Arthur Bullough. He was the youngest of four children, joining his brothers Roy (Gwen) and Eric (Joyce), and his sister Margaret (Len).
At the age of fourteen, Bob immigrated to Canada with his family. After graduating from high school in Claresholm, Alberta, he joined the Royal Canadian Navy, serving for four years before transferring to the Royal Canadian Air Force, where he served as a navigator, primarily stationed in the Maritimes. After twenty years of military service, Bob retired due to hearing loss caused by prolonged exposure to aircraft noise.
From an early age, Bob had a passion for art. He was an accomplished painter who created many beautiful works and was also a talented cartoonist. His cartoons appeared in numerous local newspapers across Canada.
While training in Winnipeg, Bob met and married his first wife, Delane. Together they shared nearly fifty happy years of marriage and raised four sons, first in the Maritimes and later in Victoria, British Columbia. In 2006, Delane passed away from a courageous battle with multiple sclerosis.
In 2007 Bob and Audrey Dunkley married and enjoyed nineteen years together. They both liked to travel and visited many places including Hawaii, Alaska, Australia, Croatia, Greece, Spain and the Mediterranean.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Audrey; sons, Kirk, Kevin, (Kari), Keith, Kent (Rubyna) and Greg (Blandina); granddaughters and grandsons, Christina (Marcello), Issac, Emily and Dan; great-grandchildren Elijah, Lincoln, Micah and Vivian; stepdaughters Andrea (Preston) and Michelle (Randy); step-grandchildren Camryn, Kevin, Gabe & Micah; nieces Kathy and Patricia and friends Julia, Tracey, Betty, John, Bonnie, Sherrell, Cliff, Brian, and Joanne.
Bob will be remembered for his love for his family, service to his country, his artistic talent, and his love of travel. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
