Originally a carpenter, Bob took a small 2-bedroom bungalow and created a 4-bedroom home for his family. Bob then switched careers to become a milkman for Jersey Farms, and subsequently Dairyland, delivering to homes and stores throughout Vancouver. During his time with Dairyland, Bob won various driving awards. He was a devoted family man, often declaring, “All that matters is who is within these four walls”.
Bob is survived by his wife, Merle, his four daughters: Susan (Bruce), Wendy (John), Vicki (Jenn) and Tracy (Jeff), and his three grandchildren: Stuart (Tegan), Joseph (Jenny) and Leah. The eldest of four, Bob is survived by his brothers Ron and Brian, and his sister, Marilyn. Predeceased by his mother, Alice, and father, Albert Catterall.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022 at Victory Memorial Gardens, followed by a private interment ceremony.
