It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Harold Sperling on January 28, 2025.
Bob was born and raised in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. At the age of 17, Bob moved to Vancouver, BC to play hockey for the Vancouver Nats and later UBC. He became a chartered accountant and settled down in Surrey, BC to raise his family. Bob was an avid chess player, reader, and loved being outside in nature. He will be remembered for his big heart, quick wit, and generosity.
Bob is survived by Wendy, his wife of 45 years, his children, Ashley, Sarah (Nick), Connor (Rachel), Jordan, and grandsons, Blair and Quinn.
