Dear Vera and family. 
I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. I was looking up your name on my computer and came across the obituary listing of Roger. I'm sorry that I have not kept in touch since I last saw you and Allan at my mother's  memorial dinner in Burnaby. I'm sorry that I do not have your address or phone number otherwise we could keep touch more often.

Vera & family. I am so sorry for your loss. Roger (Big Foot) was a great and honourable man and will be missed by all of his old colleagues.

It is going to be very difficult for me to put into a few words the immense influence Uncle Roger had in my life.  His experience, wisdom and humor was always such a positive influence on me.  I can only hope that I can pass on what I learned from him.  My deepest empathy to Aunt Vera and my cousins Clay, Roger, Fred, Nathan and Rachel.  He is already sorely missed.

A great brother-in-law whom I will truly miss. We had a lot of good times.

Grew up with so many memories full of laughter when we were with "Uncle Rog" and "Aunty Vera".  From sudden mashed potato tosses in Palm Springs, to prank phone calls from 'The Langley RCMP" - never a dull moment when Uncle Rog was around.  He will be missed by all of us who loved him.  Sincerest condolences to you all.  Luv Cheryl (Benz) Fortier and daughter Ashley Allen.

I will always remember Uncle Roger as the big tease.
He nicknamed most people he had affection for.
Quick wit and the ability to see humour in most situations brought a smile to anyone who knew him. Uncle Roger saw the good in people, even if they couldn't see it themselves.
Deepest sympathy to Auntie Vera, Clay,Roger Jr., Fred, Nathan, Rachel, their spouses & children, Auntie Joyce & Auntie Shann.
