He lived his life in his own way,
With honest hands and little to say.
He liked open roads and the western sky,
A good pair of boots and the days passing by.
He worked hard, stood by his word,
And helped when help was needed, without being heard.
He had his stories, his laughter, his views,
And a way of making his own rules.
He’ll be missed in the places he used to be,
In quiet moments and memories.
The road goes on, as roads always do,
But part of his journey stays with those who knew.
May the road ahead be peaceful and wide,
With clear skies above and no need to hide.
And may those who loved him remember this too:
A good man's life lives on in what he leaves with you.
