To Herb, David and Sharon's Family,


I was very sad to hear of Sharon's passing.


I taught at McBride Annex with Sharon for my first few years there.  She then moved on to the Main School, and we didn't see each other very often after that. However, once one became  a friend of Sharon's, it didn't seem to matter how long the separation, we never met as strangers.  The last time we had the pleasure of catching up was at her retirement party.  I loved and admired Sharon for her optimism, happy disposition and naturalness.


As you say good-bye to Sharon today, I offer my sincere condolences.

So sorry for your loss... Steph and Christoper you are so lucky to have such a loving and caring Mom. What a great role model of strength and courage. She will be sadly missed at our crazy family board games and Black friday shopping events. Just like other family members we have lost, Sharon will to be brought up in our crazy family stories, she will remembered to for her humour, love of family and dressy up at our costume parties. Keep strong Ellis family and know we are all there to help you through it.

Our hearts and thoughts are with all of you as you prepare to say good-bye to our dear Sharon.  We will all miss her.  Love from her Ontario family.  Doug, Margo, Sharon, Tom,Eric, Maddi, Tiffany, Michael, Cassandra, Logan and Paul.

To David and his children whom I met at a lovely party at their house once and also met Sharon at Newton Elem. my heart goes out to you all..and of course Herb who I havent met.I really liked Sharon. She was a beautiful, strong woman.

Sharon was a dear friend, a friendship going back to childhood.  I have fond memories of school days and brownie camp with a fun and loyal playmate and with Mrs. Morphett as "Tawny Owl".  Reconnecting years later showed Sharon as the same wonderful, strong and positive person. In recent years, we  had some great visits in our "Grade 2 girls group with Wendy and Linda reminiscing and sharing the stories of our lives.  Sharon will be greatly missed.  My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.   love Brenda

I feel very lucky to have met Sharon. Her boisterous, loving spirit, and her wonderfully infectious laugh will not be forgotten. Much love.

Take care, all of you, but especially you, Christopher, AKA Ellis. You are my West Coast brother and I love you dearly and cherish our friendship immensely. Never forget - anything I can do, anytime, anywhere.

Deepest condolences and prayers to all of you. I only met Sharon twice but she was lovely and friendly to me. Ellis - I love you friend, like a brother. My life would be so different without you in it, and I feel your pain and want to remind you again that I will be here for you, no matter when or what you need. Anytime, anywhere. I love you, friend. I was very sad to hear of Sharon's passing.  I worked with her at McBride and will always remember her quiet, strong presence. I sincerely hope that the many fond memories of her will comfort you during this difficult time.

We had the pleasure of living across the street from Sharon and Dave for many years. Sharon was a beautiful woman inside and out. Our love and sympathy to all of Sharon's family.

Sharon was my very first friend. We met when we were seven years old. I remember sitting together at school, our first sleepover, skating lessons, many birthday parties and all the other memories that make childhood special. When we reconnected in recent years, we relived all those memories and made new ones, together with two other "Grade 2" friends, Brenda and Linda. I will miss Sharon terribly and I send warmth and love to her family.

She was a beautiful woman, full of style and grace, and I loved her deeply. She was a surrogate mother to me, after my own passed away, and you just don't forget such love and patience and steady support, despite the passing of time and the increasing distance. All my love to her family. God bless.

My thoughts are with all of you. I miss Sharon and can only imagine how you will all miss her too. I know she loved all her family very much and you were all very important to her. I have lots of wonderful memories of my times with Sharon from camping at Boundary Bay listening to her recite the Beatles movies by heart to supporting each other through chemo talking about how we felt to what we wanted to eat or not eat so we didn't have to discuss it with those of you not going through it. She was a very warm and caring person  that left us too soon and I am so glad she was part of my life Love Di
