Stuart Scotty Scott

It is with sadness that we must announce that Stuart passed away on April 30, 2011 at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, BC.

He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and a good friend to many.

Originally from Montreal, Quebec, Stuart (Scotty) began his career with the Montreal Stock Exchange and worked as an active stock trader from 1948-1979.

Stuart then moved west and concluded his successful career with the Alberta Stock Exchange in 1993.

He then retired to beautiful White Rock, BC with his wife Vivian in 1994.

Stuart is survived by his wife of 52 years, Vivian, his daughter Heather and son Gregory.

Stuart is also survived by his sister Peggy of Oakville, Ontario.

“Scotty” will be missed by his many professional colleagues and his many friends, but will be mostly missed by his family. We’ll miss you Scotty, your integrity and sense of fair play will never be forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society be made in his name on his behalf.
