It is with profound sadness that we mark the passing of our cherished husband and father Terrence William Piche on February 17, 2016. He leaves to mourn his wife of thirty years Dr. Shelley Bosetti-Piche, his son Dr. Matthew Piche and his daughter Gillian Piche along with sisters Fran Clark and Sylvia Piche, and many valued extended family members. He is predeceased by his parents William and Klasina Piche, and his father-in-law Dr. Rino Bosetti.
Born in Edmonton, Terry worked several years for the Alberta oil sands company, Syncrude, before moving to Vancouver to join the global communications and information company MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates (MDA) where he served as vice-president and chief commercial officer until his death. He shared his gifts of creativity in so many dimensions both professionally and in his private life as an avid rosarian and gardener, a respected painter in oils, acrylics and encaustic, a talented craftsman restoring antiques as well as designing and creating exquisite pieces of furniture; in short there was very little that Terry could not do, and do well.
He is to be remembered above all as a man of integrity and kindness. We were the better for having known him. Private prayers for the family were held at St. Mark Ocean Park with Rev. Craig Tanksley officiating. Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre has been entrusted with the arrangements.
