

He is survived by his son Walker, brothers Allan (Pat) Harris, Steve (Miriam) Smith, Tony (Lynn) Harris, sisters Linda (Jim) Slater, Tammy (Norm) Upton, Kathy’s sons Dan, Mike and Chris Johnson and their families, as well as many beloved extended family and friends. Tim was born two weeks early in Rossland, BC. The nuns at the hospital called him “Tiny Tim”. The family moved to Nelson in 1962, where his parents worked at the Nelson Golf Course for many years. In the early 70’s they moved to Vancouver and then Langley. Tim had various jobs growing up in Langley. His favourite was the Cedar Rim Nursery. He moved to Powell River in the 90’s where he met Kathy and Walker was born. An avid hockey buff, at one time he drove the bus for the Powell River Kings. Tim suffered a catastrophic fall on October 4, broke his neck, that caused a loss of oxygen to his brain. He was medevacked to Vancouver and his life ended on October 7. Tim’s organs were donated. He was a hero saving three lives.
A memorial will be held on November 13 at 2:00pm at Victory Memorial Funeral Centre 14831 28 Avenue in Surrey. In lieu of flowers, please sign an organ donor card.
