Vivian Rempel – age 91 – of Elim Village Surrey, BC, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 9, 2018. She was born, Vivian Elsie Beck on November 23, 1926 to Henry and Hilda (Anderson) Beck in Edgeworth, Saskatchewan. Vivian was the second youngest of 5 siblings.
Vivian moved with her family to Langley, BC, in 1934 and then at the age of 16 the family moved into New Westminster.
Vivian married John Rempel in 1948 and moved, with him back to Fortier, Manitoba where they farmed for 9 years, before settling in Surrey BC.
Vivian is predeceased by her husband John Rempel in April 1992. Sister Pearl (Beck) Bradley, Brothers Robert and Gordon Beck, Sister-in-law Edith Beck and Brother-in-laws, Bill Bradley and Clarence Fosmark and her Daughter-in-law Lynne Rempel in February 2018.
Vivian is survived by her sons: Doug (Sandra) Rempel, Cliff Rempel, Daughter Carol Chepil. Grandchildren: Chris (Sheri), James, Kevin, Calvin (Pamela) Julie (Jake), Britta (Phil), Jordan (Sarah), Annalise (Perry) and her 9 great-grandchildren.Vivian is also survived by her sister, Dorothy Fosmark and her Sister-in-Law Gail Beck and many nieces, nephews and friends.
