Walter Ferdinand Hamre, born in Saskatchewan on August 19, 1932, passed away on August 6, 2026 at Royal Columbian Hospital.
He moved with his family to Toronto at 5 years of age. In the 1970's, he moved to British Columbia and married Darlene McInnes on January 2, 1998. In 2002 they moved to Pioneer Village Co-operative in Maple Ridge.
A small gathering will be held August 19, 2026 from 1 to 3pm at Pioneer Village Hall at 11830 - 230th Street.
