Born in Plattsburgh, New York, she was the daughter of the late Dwight Beecher and Dorothy (Hardy) Wells.
A graduate of Revena Coeyman High School, Barbara went on to New York State and earned an associate’s degree from Bryant University. She worked as a production planner for Rand McNally Corporation for many years prior to her retirement in 1987.
Barbara is survived by four children, Kevin Fleming of Lowell, Deborah Gilbert of Taunton, Karen Fleming of Taunton, Linda St. Pierre of Taunton and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Susan Ferreira, Eric and Brian Fleming.
Private arrangements are in the care of the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest. Burial private.
