Clara H. Poulin

Clara H. (Carvalho) Poulin, age 72, of Pawtucket, RI formerly of S. Attleboro, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016 in Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the wife of Michael G. Poulin to whom she has been married for 26 years.

Born in Bristol, RI, the daughter of the late Manuel and Dorothea (Goulart) Carvalho, she was a graduate of Joseph Case High School in Swansea. She was employed as a Repair Operator for the Foxboro Company in Foxboro, MA and Codex in Mansfield until her retirement in 1998.

She volunteered at the Attleboro Friends of Cats, she a former Lioness Club member and enjoyed quilting, cross-stitching and reading.

In addition to her husband of 26 years, she is survived by two sons Steven Santanna of MA and Paul C. Santanna of Fall River; two brothers Paul D. Carvalho and James J. Carvalho both of Swansea; a sister Merrilyn Sikora of Broomfield, CO; a grandson Joshua S. Needham of Austin, TX and many nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Manuel Carvalho.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 10:00 am. Visiting hours will be prior to her service from 8:00-10:00 am.
