Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late George W. and Alice E. (Buckley) Tew.
A graduate of Joseph Case High School, Duane joined the United States Air Force and worked as a Supervisor at Globe Rubber Works for many years.
Besides his wife, Duane is survived by three children, Duane Tew, Jr. and his wife Doreen of Swansea, Patricia Campion of Warren, RI, and Richard Pain of Swansea; three grandchildren, Amanda Mailhot and her partner Jason Charron of Fall River, Stephanie Rogala and her husband Josh of Swansea and April Schenck and her husband Corey of Swansea and six great-grandchildren, Syrena, Jaylee, Brook, Paige, Madison and Colton.
His Funeral Services will be private.
